Loch Lomond is Scotland's largest loch (by surface area) and was made famous by the popular song, but it's also well known for it's magnificent scenery and being only 14 miles from Glasgow, Scotland's largest City, it's also a hugely popular tourist destination.
This swim starts at the North end of the Loch by the Mouth of the River Falloch. You'll head South, passing Ben Lomond on your left, the villages of Tarbet, Inverbeg and Luss on your right, before navigating the narrow channel through Inchtavannach and Inchmurrin Islands and heading South towards Balloch, where your swim will end on the beach by the Loch Lomond Aquarium.
