The Colorado River carves it's way through the spectacular red rocks of the Grand Canyon and into Lake Mead, created by the Hoover Dam, which provides water and electricity to Las Vegas and the surrounding states.
This route takes you through the most famous and spectacular part of the Grand Canyon's West Rim, beginning at Guano Point, next to the famous "Sky Walk" tourist attraction and finishing 16km later at Columbine Falls, just upstream of Lake Mead itself.
