Cross False Bay from the tip of Cape Point to Cape Hangklip which is clearly seen on the other side of the bay. The water temperature varies with local upwelling of deep cold waters or you may hit surface waters warmed by sun in the bay. The wildlife you may meet ranges from Southern Right Whales and common dolphins to Orca and Great White Sharks. The weather may change from glorious sunny skies to showers but you’re unlikely to escape the blustery south-easter in summer or the north-westers in winter that bring the rain.
