With the 2020 Olympics being held in Tokyo, we're setting up more SWIMTAG challenges in the Far East, starting with this monster route between Busan in the South East of South Korea, and Fukuoka, Japan. Busan is South Korea's second city and is famous for hosting conventions, it's large port (9th largest in the world) and being the industrial powerhouse that drives the country's economy. Your swim begins at the South East corner of Yongho-Dong and you head into the Sea of Japan past Tsushima Island and towards Fukuoka. When you reach the bay, you'll pass Genkai Island, Shikanoshima Island and Nokonoshima Island, before landing at Momochi Seaside Park in the shadow of the Fukuoka Tower (pictured). A total distance of just over 200km.
